For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a teacher, so it seemed easy for me, when it came time decide what I would study in college. However, it wasn't until I took a part-time job at a Montessori School that I felt like I had truly found the path I was meant to follow. My Montessori training was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Now here I am, in my 9th year as the head teacher of the 4th - 6th grade class, at the Montessori Children's School, and I still get excited to come to work each and every day. I feel blessed to be a part of an environment, where I am not only a teacher, but a fellow learner. I learn new things from my students every day!

Away from school I enjoy spending time with my daughter (Emma) and my son (Noah).
